There are so many ways that you can support St. Mary's Retreat House and the retreat ministry whose aim is spiritual growth.

Gifts of Time and Service

Prayer: The first and foremost gift you can extend is our prayer on behalf of St. Mary's Retreat House, the Retreat League, our retreat ministry and the needs of all who call for prayer.

Volunteers: Are you interested in giving a little time to volunteer for fundraising, 2 hours in the gift shop,  5 hours of mailing or 2 hours of gardening, laundry, library time? Perhaps you are a people person and God is asking you to join the retreat team and recruit 5 ladies for a weekend retreat or a reflection day. Perhaps you would be willing to serve on the retreat board or work at a special event or become a retreat coordinator.

Gift Certificates are also available at St. Mary's Retreat House. Give her a heavenly gift.... a weekend retreat.

Financial Gifts

Project12Baskets:  St. Mary's retreat House partnership with Project12Baskets is allowing us to collect gently used items of value and turn them into dollars. To help us financially and gain tax deductions, give us a call at 248-628-3894 or visit their website at www.project12baskets.com.

Utility support: We are all experiencing a dramatic jump in gas and electric bills; imagine having a 60 room house to heat or cool!

Maintenance support: Since our retreat house was built around 1927 and was rebuilt in 1960, many structural and equipment repairs have begun to appear. 

Chapel support: Chapel vestment and sacred vessels as well as altar linens are provided for through this gift.

Operating support: This donation would be added to the operating budget to keep it in the black during times when retreats have been cancelled or the retreat house is not sponsoring an event but must continue operating expenses.

Retreat scholarship support: This gift provides for retreat assistance for those who are experiencing an exceptional difficulty in making a much needed retreat.

Library support: This enables us to purchase current books and resource materials for retreatants and staff.

Material support: These are items we need on a continuing basis and can be dropped off at any time.
