Fr.
Steve Vileo
will present “Reflections
on New Life Themes In the Gospel.”
These Scripture passages are also the stories of our lives. When
we need to be healed, forgiven, fed and find our way through the
darkness, God is here, offering us abundant life.
Sr. Sue Tracy, OP
will present,
“The Tapestry of Our Lives.”
Often we
find that God reveals the ultimate meaning, worth and beauty of
life through many disguised, unexpected, and ordinary moments
that loom over us and hem us in, creating a unique and lasting
heritage.
Fr. Alex Kratz, OFM
will present,
“Jesus and the Women.”
In the first
century, the Hebrew culture had vastly different yet similar
customs and traditions from those of our own time. We will
explore how Jesus related to women in an extraordinary way and
discern what he is drawing us to today.
Fr. Thomas Slowinski
will offer
“Living Sacramentally in the 21st Century.”
Ultimately,
we are challenged to become sacramental people. Come and
discover how this affects the world.
Fr. Marty Pable, CAP
will join us for the first time to present
“I AM—How Jesus Reveals the Face of God to Us.”
This retreat
will be a meditation on who Jesus is and how he images the
Father and Spirit for us.
Fr. Gus Cops, Capuchin
will share
“God’s Amazing Grace”
April 25th
and will return October 11th to preach & proclaim the Divine
Name first spoken to Moses: “I
AM.”
Come, experience and celebrate God’s presence and the power of
God’s name!
Fr. Ozzie Mascarenhas, SJ
will return for two retreats: “What
Are You Looking For? Come and See.”
and
“Let God, Let Go.”
Come
and challenge the attitudes, beliefs and habits that ultimately
hold you back from living life to the full.
Barb Davis
will return
this year to present “The
Woman Who Walks With God.”
These words
in the first letter of Peter encourage us to endure our trials
“so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold,
... may redound to praise and glory and honor at the revelation
of Jesus Christ.”
Fr. Art Cooney, OFM
will present
“Peace with God, Others and Ourselves,”
a
silent retreat designed to create inner tranquility. Come and
deepen your relationships and learn to live in greater harmony
with all of creation.
Fr. John Martin Shimkus, OSB
begins the
New Year with, “Opening
to God: The Way of Prayer,”
based on the writings of Thomas Green and follows with
“Learning Forgiveness, Learning Christ.”
Both retreats open us to the Divine presence and the need for
forgiveness in today’s world.
Sr. Teresita Lipar, OP
will present “I
AM—For You”
and “Jesus:
‘I am He, the One who is Speaking to You’.”
In her prayerful way she will help you connect with the one who
is, who was and will be; the Creator and Messiah who says “I
Am—for YOU.”
Sr. Helen Sohn,
OP
will help us sincerely listen and remain attentive to the gentle
whispers rising up from deep within our hearts. Her deeply
inspiring weekend is called “Be
Still and Know That I Am God.”
Fr. Charles Irvin
will offer “Praying
the Lord’s Prayer in Our Day.”
This is an opportunity to enter more deeply into the prayer that
Jesus taught to his disciples. Use this ancient prayer to renew
your relationship with God each time you pray these familiar
words..
